having previously had wonderful experience with Warrens work, we hired them to put in a new sub floor and vinyl flooring in kitchen. My advice to anyone considering having Warrens do any work for them is GO ELSEWHERE! The day the boys were going to do this they requested to be allowed to start at 615 a m. so my husband took time off work to go to the house and let them in but he had to wait for them till after 8. They wanted to charge him for having them take away the stuff they were removing, and this is not a policy at Warrens so they were told to take it away themselves and there would be no charge to us. They remarked how good the sub floor looked causing my husband to lose more time from work because then he had to stay to make sure they actually removed the old one and replaced it , because we paid for that. They were trusted to be left alone to finish the job so my husband could get to work and that was a mistake. When they finished, they called and said we "needed to get over here" with the balance because they were leaving. They were then told we would take the balance over to the store after we inspected their work. Upon arriving at the house less than an hour after the boys left, we found more than 20 gouges in the walls that we had just had painted a few weeks prior. There was glue on a cupboard, and more on a hallway wall no where near where the floor was being replaced. We immediately went to the store, informing them of this disaster, and showed pictures. The boys never once mentioned that they had done this.Arrangements were made for me to meet Warren there and he defended his workers, said it was our painter fault but said he would have it fixed.. So a week later we were told these boys would meet us after 12 to fix this mess, which caused us more time and money lost from missing work because we waited for them till 5PM! They immediately said they would never have done this and said someone sabotaged the walls to make them look bad. There was no one in the house between the time they left that day and the time we got there to take pics of the damage, so that leaves a ghost I guess. They fixed the damage, with spackle and paint but used a type of plastic card out of their wallet to smooth out the spackle because they "didn't know they were going to need a putty knife" Unbelievable. Another lie was telling me they spent 90 dollars on the paint and would sell it to me for 40. I had just purchased that same type paint from the same store which was having a 40 percent off sale and got it for just over 30 dollars. So if you can possibly do the work yourself, take that route, if not hire someone far away from Warrens
We stopped in to check out their "moving sale" and the owner, Warren, greeted us and helped us personally. Answered all my questions, and gave us an amazing deal. While our visit was short, and our purchase relatively small, I was impressed with the level of customer service we were given. Despite our insignificant purchase. I hope their new location does well for them, and we will absolutely be back whenever we have flooring needs :)
