Basic, clean room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Carpet torn in the bathroom doorway to the point where the tack strip underneath would poke your feet when you stepped there. I wouldn't want a child to step there. The middle of the pathway. Breakfast is good.

The staff were nice, but I'm not sure the room was actually cleaned before our stay. There were receipts and notes from the previous guest on the table, what looked like dog hairs on the sheets, only 1 towel in the bathroom, and no toiletries. The front desk happily gave me enough towels and toiletries and were overall nice. It just looked like they made the bed and grabbed the dirty towels and walked out of the room instead of cleaning. The breakfast had a good selection, standard for most hotels. I wouldn't stay here again though.

For travelers to the area ... it is well located to highway routes and nearby businesses.

The room was not properly cleaned upon check-in. The bathroom floor had stains near the toilet. The bathtub did not drain properly and filled up while showering. Moreover, the room was supposed to be handicap accessible, but the tub was too high for anyone with a disability to actually get in the tub unassisted and the tub did not have a non slip surface. It is actually a terrible accident waiting to happen. The front desk attendants were not helpful as they could not actually solve the problem. All they offered in terms of a solution was to speak to the manager who would not be in until the next morning and to wait for maintenance to arrive to work the next morning but would likely be late because "they are always late and never show up on time." The manager was polite and apologetic when I spoke with her. She sent both maintenance and housekeeping to the room for service while we were out for the day; however, we discovered both the tub drain and the cleanliness of the bathroom had not improved when we returned. Unfortunately, all area hotels were booked, so my family had no other options for accommodations. This forced us to end our family trip one day earlier than planned because we could no longer deal with the horrid room conditions.

The rooms are clean and generally well maintained. We chose to not to report two minor room problems during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and well varied.

The front desk associate was very pleasent and accommodating. I would have given a 5 however room had a little bit of a smell. Wasn't bad enough to ask to move. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs and sausage. Belgium waffles either plain or apple cinnamon. Also had blueberry topping for waffles which was yummy.
