Second day of our drive from MA to TX we received a call from a DETECTIVE in New Jersey informing us that our moving truck had been STOLEN FROM THE DIRECT MOVERS FACILITY!

Truck was located two days later 5 hours away. Our belongings arrived in TX 5 days later. Boxes were opened, items re-packed! Mover tried to give us someone else's luggage, insisted it was ours!! Still in the process of accessing damages and accounting of inventory.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, OR THEIR AFFILIATES. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY. Pan American Relocation Services is not an actual moving company. They are a moving service broker that aligns themselves with less than professional moving companies. They set up my move from NC to MO with a moving company called Better Rate Movers. It was one of the most horrendous and unprofessional experiences of my professional life. If you enjoy not being able to talk with someone to help you, or if you enjoy being treated EXTREMELY rudely and waiting over a month for your furniture to be delivered, or if you enjoy being told you will have to pay an extra fee to unload the truck and move your furniture in, or pay a $7 per step charge, then by all means, call Pan American Relocation Services and have them book your move with Better Rate Movers. Otherwise, STAY AWAY. These two companies are the most obnoxious, rude and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.

STAY AWAY! Please do no use Pan-American Relocation Services/AAA Moving Services. I awaited to received my belongings for 2 months. I was not credited for the late days, ($25 per late day) and they lie to you about your delivery date! They are professionals at the beginning but once they have your items---it's a nightmare. Please stay away! DO NOT HIRE THEM, because then they will HIRE a contractor and they are the worst and then PAN-AMERICAN tells you that they are at the "Mercy" of the Dispatch and the Driver---yes, that is crazy but that's what I was told. My bike and one box is missing! I'm waiting to receive those and to receive a refund as well, for the late days.

WORST EXPERIENCE!! BAIT AND SWITCH!Choose another mover!

I settled with the company 8/1/2017 for $150.00 just to have it done. Had me sign a paper releasing them of future claims. Still no payment 10/19/17. They are slower at paying than they are at delivery.

I hired this company "they treat you like family" I guess I am a very distant relative, because I was treated poorly. The price was doubled, although the company outsourced the service, I got the packing material at half price for the price being doubled. I was promised delivery of 7 -21 business days and they took all 21 days to make the delivery. That is over a month in real people time. I called to complain and the company simply disregarded it all, I explained that the outsourced company is going to cause a bad review for Pan American and the reply was "oh well, we know".

Quoted and signed contract based on inventory and weight, they contracted with DIRECT MOVERS who loaded it and charged by piece! AND REFUSED TO TAKE A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT!! After much grief and run around, we paid another $1500.

Once they have your furniture, there is nothing you can do. All the excuses and justifications will not matter. It's a busy time of year, we had more deliveries than just yours. Yet, what happened to we treat you like family? If this company took on too many deliveries and can not live up to the promises made, how is this our fault? We paid the money, still have to pay $500 more when it finally arrives. We were promised delivery on the 22nd and at 2:00pm (after all the calls and complaints) still nothing. We were promised a call 24 hours in advance, nothing. I have called them, Many times, they are not working to get it done though. I am sorry I did business with this company. It will not happen twice.

No one wants to go through this nightmare, I really thought we picked a good mover... we were wrong, beware of the bait and switch and who the move gets contracted out to! We are aware of the odds that the truck would probably never be found.. we are also very blessed and thankful that it was found!

This place is nothing but a scam. My wife and I had to move from across the country. As part of the relocation package for one of our jobs we had to get at least six quotes from moving companies. Pan-American gave us a quote that was about $2,000 lower than the next cheapest (probably should have been a red-flag right there, honestly). Once the mover they hired arrived (Pan-American is a broker, not a mover), they told us it will be $3,000 more than the original quote. I understood that the original quote will never be 100% accurate, but $3,000 more is terrible. They knew we had not choice at that point though and could do what they wanted. We were closing on our house the next morning and had to be out. Plus we had to start our trip across the US to our new home. We called to figure everything out but they just would not listen to anything we said. Instead everyone we spoke with was just condescending and talked in circles. They kept telling us it was our fault becuase the inventory we gave them was not accurate. That is a lie as the mover and myself went through the inventory we gave them and, while it was not 100% correct, it was not that far off (there was a few chairs we forgot to include). They flat out low-balled us on their original quote so we would use them, then used the very illegal bait-and-switch by nearly doubling what their original quote was when we were stuck with literally no other options. Also, as I mentioned before, they a broker, not a mover. They just find a mover to sub-contract and charge the people moving an $800 fee for doing so. They're a middle-man. Skip them, reach out directly to a mover, and save $800 (we would have done this had they not scammed us). Finally, they had six days between when we left our original home and the day we would be able to first receive our things, a date they knew about. Despite nearly a week of lead time, we didn't get our things until six days AFTER our first available date. It took almost two weeks for them to get 20-22 hours away. When they did finally show up, a few things were broken (some dishes, a bookcase, some coffee cups). We used a freight company on our last long-distance move and nothing broke that time. Pan-American is a scam. They are just a middle-man who will rope you in then jack-up their price when you have no other choice, and their employees are very condescending (especially to women. While talking to my wife, one of them actually started a sentence with "I'm sure you're very smart, but...." My wife has a PhD.). Save yourself the $800 they charge and go right to the movers. Avoid them.

COULD NOT GET PAN AMERICAN TO ANSWER THEIR PHONES... WHEN SOMEONE FINALLY ANSWERED, HE LAUGHED WHEN WE INFORMED HIM THAT THE TRUCK HAD BEEN STOLEN!
